the RiskComp Managed Service, each have specific features
and benefits.
The Intranet
Portal has the following key features:
Accessibility
As
RiskComp is a web based application, it is accessible from
anywhere the users of the Organisation have access to the
intranet server. It is accessed using standard web browser
software, requiring no extra support for the installation
and maintenance of desktop software.
Security
With any
risk and compliance management programme, security is
paramount. RiskComp maximises the strengths of the security
model integrated into IBM Lotus Domino. The RiskComp
application could be deployed based on specific department,
or business function, each having their own discrete area
within the application, with access to each area restricted
to authorised personnel.
Flexibility
The nature of the RiskComp
Intranet Portal means that it can be accessed by many users
concurrently, each working on different parts of the same
assessment, regardless of their location. This makes
RiskComp particularly attractive to Organisations that are
geographically dispersed.

The
Expertise, which provides the ability to manage risk and
compliance issues, reduces the need to have a high number of
skilled professionals in a specific field. As all of the
facilities to create and customise the Expertise are built
into RiskComp, there is almost no limit as to what the

Domino provides a scalable technical infrastructure, with
the ability to locate servers close to the user base in a
geographically dispersed Organisation. RiskComp can be
deployed to make full use of this scalability, where
connectivity by users over a Local Area Network is preferred
to using a Wide Area Network.

Organisations deploying the RiskComp Intranet Portal are
provided with the same high quality Customer Support as that
afforded to Customers of the RiskComp Managed Service.

online and remote Customer Support is provided to the key
project resources responsible for the day-to-day management
of RiskComp within the Organisation.

consists of self-help, collaboration with other
Organisations via Customer Forums, full incident management,
and telephone support.
